Meet Me

Hello, I'm Riley Sinclair (yes, this is a pseudonym), and I have been writing for practically the majority of my life. When I was in third grade, my best friend and I always wrote stories about these two barn cats because I guess third graders just don't have much anything better to do. Since the era of writing barn cat mystery stories, I've written a couple other things too, like a novel and one or two other blogs. And journals, lots of them.

High school hit, and I eventually went through a couple things that really made me question what I was doing with my life. What's life's purpose? What is happiness? Well, while I can't say that I have found the right answer, I can say that I've found one that's good enough for me.

I am learning every day to find a spirit of gratitude, because I've realized that there are so many things in my life that are wonderful. And although life isn't always flowers and rainbows, I am coming to realize that even the storms are worth rejoicing over, because flowers and rainbows don't come until after the lightning and thunder.

So while I'm far from being perfect, and although I can be sarcastic and am not always the happiest person in the world, there are reasons to smile. This blog is all about sharing my discoveries, experiences, and knowledge with you. Thank you for joining me on this journey!

My spiritual biography aside, I am currently a freshman attending CU, and am thinking of majoring in either biochemistry or psychology while being on the pre-medical track. I shamelessly associate with fellow nerds, play the violin, hold a couple jobs, and practice tae kwon do. I enjoy drinking tea in the mornings, reading the Bible, watching movies, goofing around with my friends, and of course writing to you. I hope you enjoy this blog!
